I gave some info in the site contests about it, Wormy and I agreed that it should be a good idea. So, what I'm suggesting is that, after I name a video game, the players have a chance to suggest something, and the best/most original/unique/whatever choice is considered the best will recieve an item. However, it doesn't mean the item will be an unique item, but it will most probably be in the game. Here's an example with week 1's video game: Mario
For example, I'd suggest a koopa shell as a shield.
Probably isn't worth being an "unique" item, but it's an idea. Now good luck finding good stuff.

2nd- N/A
3rd- N/A
WEEK 2 (Zelda):
1st- Pegasus Boots - RilezTNUKI
2nd- N/A
3rd- N/A

WEEK 4 (Pokemon):
N/A
This week (week 5) is Fire Emblem. Suggest special items, weapons, clothes, armor and stuff.

These are some cool ideas guys. I wish I had more time to work on worg. :( This next quarter at school is looking to be really difficult so we will probably see zero progress until summer.

If there was a "monster-taming" system of sorts (beating an enemy has blank% of joining you, etc.)...
Pokeball: GREATLY increases your chances of recruiting enemies. If there was an item-upgrade feature (or just seperate items), there could be Great Ball, Ultra Ball, etc.

No winner this week. Pokeball sure was an original idea, but it isn't good enough to be an UNIQUE item. This week is fire emblem. I hope you can think of something nice. I was thinking Kid Icarus, but I'm letting you play a bit more so you can know more about it.

I don't play much Fire Emblem, so I couldn't think of much...
Fire Emblem: Uncontrollably run forward, forcing you constantly change direction in order to hit your enemies. However, any enemies hit will take damage from your boosted attack(it could be fire-damage too, i.e. burns).

Haha! I will now commit the best Cave Story related item ideas in the world!
Booster 2.0: Makes you go three times as fast in any direction for a short while. Takes a few seconds to charge up.
Life Pot: Brings you back up to full health, but only once.
Mushroom Badge: Although in the game it really didn't do anything, in this game it could increase Luck or something like that?
But of course, nobody's gonna listen because its Fire Emblem week...

I'm not going to do the obvious choice, like Palutena's Bow...
SPOILER ALERT!
Ring of Chaos: The ring used to capture Pit's soul. Use it to capture NPC monsters' souls, and they will attack who you tell them to. If you die, they turn back to normal.
EDIT: Only on lower-leveled monsters, and not on bosses. Thanks sponge

Rilez, if you will take a suggestion, I have an idea for your idea:
You can only control enemy's that are the same level as or or lower, and you can't control bosses (Duh.)
Mirror Shield:
Once equipped, it reflects 75% of projectile attacks. (Not 100%, beacause that would be overpowered.)
Pleaaaase let next week be Earthbound...
