Bosses:
If it will be what I think of, it'll be stories/series bosses?
Mario series:
-Bowser
http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/2048/bowser.png
-Kamek
http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5025/kamek.png
Yoshi's Island series:
-Baby Bowser
http://img59.imageshack.us/img59/2193/babybowser.png
-Kamek (too)
http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5025/kamek.png
Kirby Series:
-King Dedede
http://img682.imageshack.us/img682/7537/kingdedede.png
-Meta Knight (Could join you after defeating him)
http://img90.imageshack.us/img90/9384/metaknight.png
Sonic Series:
-Shadow (Will join after that too)
http://img827.imageshack.us/img827/8290/shadowo.png
-Metal 4 chars (Sonic, Knux, Tails and Shadow)
http://img830.imageshack.us/img830/4162/96930562.png Metal Knuckle
http://img831.imageshack.us/img831/9319/58651884.png Metal Sonic
http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/2006/msh.png Metal Shadow
http://img822.imageshack.us/img822/3854/48591357.png Metal Tails
-Rouge
http://img521.imageshack.us/img521/5782/rougeh.png
-Eggman
http://img839.imageshack.us/img839/6012/eggmanc.png
Zelda Series:
-Majora's Mask (With Mask Link)
Choose Hero or Evil:
If Hero:
-Ganondorf (Link & Zelda)
http://img256.imageshack.us/img256/2263/ganondorfr.png
If Evil:
-Link & Zelda (Ganondorf)
http://img713.imageshack.us/img713/5329/13176947.png
And Maybe you could make Adventure mode-only characters but make them very easy to make on the character customizer?
If so,
Fire Emblem series:
Lyn & Hector's stories:
-Sonia
http://img841.imageshack.us/img841/6853/sonia.png
-Nergal
-Fire Dragon
Micaiah's story (If Ike could be playable he'd be here too):
2 choices for the beginning: Micaiah's side or Ike's side.
If Micaiah is chosen:
-Ike & Soren
If Ike is chosen:
-Micaiah & Sothe
They merge together.
-Black Knight
-Lehran
-Ashera
Ephraim's story:
-Riev
-Lyon
-Demon King/Formortiis (Same Person)
Then, they might all join together.
Starfox series:
Pigma Dengar
Leon Powalsi
Pokemon series:
-Giovanni
-Elite 4
-Mewtwo
-Rival (Blue)
Kingdom Hearts series:
Sora's Story:
-Sephiroth
-Xemnas
-Roxas (Will join you after beating him)
*Riku joins*
-Ansem
Roxas' Story:
-Saix
-Axel (Will join in Sora's story after beating Roxas)
-Riku (Will not join)
Others:
-Ridley
