Note: You need a fire red rom to play this and, even though it's not needed, I highly recommend using a HG/SS rom to use along with the Fire Red one. - sponge7325
I don't usually use ROMs, cause when you get Pokemon you can't send them to the next game or anything, but i'll try it out sometime when I have more time to use the computer.

Except that this isn't simply an emulator, they use the ROM to load graphics and they have a different engine (java-based) to play the game. You'll find out that you wouldn't want to transfer anyways.

You should have seen it! First there were these giant flies that ate almost everyone, but it was mostly newbs, so it didn't matter, then there was a huge explosion and then this humongous flyswater that came out of absolutely NOWHERE and killed all the flies, but then it came towards us so we all banded together and beat the giant flyswatter with our, uhh, power of, uhh, freindship or something.
Absent0 was so traumatized by the incident that he lost his vocal cords though.

It works sometimes, you may not want to play when it does though, there'd be no other players on really so the whole feel of the game would be lost, it's main niche but hopefully the offline version is kept constant.

Okay guys, Eric and I are making a Minecraft version of the Tower of Valni. Here's kind of how to explain it:
The sacred stone of Frelia has just been destroyed. Monsters have been appearing and have taken the tower. They have now started to attack the nearby villages. It is up to you to save them.
This map is more than a 1 FE block for 2x2 minecraft blocks recreation of Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones' Tower of Valni. You must fight through the 8 floor of the tower, defeating armies of revenants, skeletons, wolves and Spiders. Who knows what else you are going to find in the tower...
This maps could be kind of interesting because:
- There's a class system
Fire Emblem's large class system has been instorated. This, not only adds suffixes, but adds weapon restrictions by limiting some kinds of weapons for certain classes and stat modifiers for each class. Not only that, but some weapons also need to be a certain level to wield weapons in order to instore weapon levels. Reclass and Superior classes are also included.
-There's a shop system
It probably isn't the only map out there with the feature, but it's rare to see a map with a Gold system not needing xp. This map has it and has it working. Also respects the class restrictions and adds also utility items.
-Made for both Single and multiplayer
This one is self explanatory
-Made in Vanilla
No mods needed, even though here's a couple of bonuses we'll add which will need two mods.
-Custom Soundtrack
Needs soundmod. Will add a Fire Emblem Sacred Stones soundtrack.
-Custom Texture Pack
For mobs and some blocks. Will not be needed but will make it better.
This map will be done for sure at least in 1.6 because horses will be appreciated for cavalier and flying units and the new effects system will help a lot.

I actually first learned about this about two weeks ago, but only the Kickstarter thing, and I thought, "Well, I guess this is okay...", and, like, an hour or so ago, I saw the second thing. My forum instincts told me to go here and spread the news. Also, read EVERYTHING.

Guys! Guys! I e-mailed Wormy the other day asking him what he planned on adding to CND, and he told me that by the end of the year, he would add these features!
-New Modes will include One Life, where if you die, your entire account will be deleted!
-Enemies will be able to chase you wherever you go, even if you use a teleporter!
-Bosses will be required to have at least twenty hit points!
-Power-Ups that allow you to be hit more than once will be removed!
-All worlds will be required to have at least five hidden smiley faces!
-World creation will be completely removed, so the only way to edit your world will be to code it yourself!
-CND will no longer have characters from video games, but will instead have the characters from James Bond movies!
-All weapons will be changed to ducks to make the game more child friendly!
-You will be able to get deadly diseases in-game!
-Usernames will be required to to have the word 'bacon' in it!
-CND will require a monthly payment of $35.99 to play!
-If you attempt to say something in-game, it will be changed to say things like "What a pretty princess!" and "Your beautiful!"
-The ability to change your characters color will be replaced by the ability to change the size of your characters head!
-Teleporters will take a minute to teleport you anywhere!
-You will be able to buy entertaining Mattel products on the CND website!
-Entering world 'pie' will overload your computer and blow up your entire house!
-Star Wars and Halo world will be replaced by Talk Show and Soap Opera world!
-Weather such as Acid Rain and Fog That Turns You Inside Out will be implemented!
-Checkpoints will be replaced by goats!
-UFOs will randomly abduct your character, forcing you to chose a new one!
-Falling for more than thirty seconds will cause the game to play annoying harmonica music!
-And all that fun stuff!
Personally, I can't wait! Its gonna be so fun with all these new awesome features!

There should be levels where you're character is completely a silhouette, to add like a shadowy kind of effect like in Rayman Origins...I would completely revamp this game if I knew how, srsly, sidescrolling and everything, I would do layered backgrounds, layered foregrounds, shadow effects, gravity system... I could do it all on scratch but thats about the extenent of my abilities

Official Hero World Thread
Welcome to the TOTALLY NEW Official Hero World Thread! Here, I will be discussing the stuff that will be in the Hero World, quite obviously.
FEATURES:
Okay, we all know what features are, their those little things that you can do in a game/world that make it unique. Here's a quick list of what i'll be doing.
Hero World Housing
This is pretty simple. After gaining entry to the Pocket Dimension Hub or something, you'll be able to access a place where you can get your own house specifically in the Hero World! Now, I know what your thinking, "Sponge7325, why would anyone want a house in your dinky little world instead of in the normal housing world?". Well, I personally think it would be kinda fun to be able to have your own house in a world, and think that others might probably think that its nice too. On the same note, I might make accounts of various "Heroes", and give them their own, furnished houses in the Hero World, so that players can feel that they are really in a Hero World, or something.
POCKET DIMENSIONS:
What is a Pocket Dimension? Well, a Pocket Dimension is basically a world inside the Hero World that the player must traverse in order to get its respective trophy. After collecting every trophy, you are able to unlock the final Pocket Dimension. Also, I'm not gonna make Pocket Dimensions of Mario or Zelda, because there already is, or is going to be entire worlds to them. Anyways, here are the Pocket Dimensions, not yet in order.
Cave Story Dimension (Optional)
I'm pretty sure some of you guys don't know what Cave Story is, so in short, its a platformer where you shoot stuff. Well, in this Dimension, you'll be exploring the top of the Island (where the game takes place), and gradually going down through caves till you get to the boss.

If you don't know what an enemy is, you should not be reading this.
Spike Goomba
Although technically supposed to be in the Mario World, these little creatures patrol certain places in the Pocket Dimension Hub.

UNLOCKABLE CHARACTERS:
Characters that can (hopefully) be unlocked after earning an optional worlds trophy, or beating the main game.

While the houses in the world is a nice concept, I'm not sure if it would work entirely with a theme based world. You can incorporate it in a draft of the world before it's published so I can see how it works. Also, the quote sprites are absolutely minuscule.

You're getting ban -___- jk, but the spammer situation at the moment is out of hand, I could go ahead and ban 100s of accounts daily, but where would that get us? They just change usernames and move on, Captcha really needs to be enforced a lot more.

If we can get over not having CND for about 2 months, we can handle a simple little spammer.

World Editing?
Hey, so I'm a veteran player, a couple of you might remember me as Vidgmrjoe. For whatever reason my previous log in data wouldn't work so I created this new account under the same email. The is mainly for Wormy, or whoever the hell is in charge of the worlds, but is it still possible to go and edit a world? I was granted access to the Mario world but back when the site crashed I just kind of forgot about the game entirely. I had so much fun making my house and building up that world, I'd love to pick up where the past me left off. Thanks to anyone who replies 😀- Wormy
I need to know the world # you want to edit. There is a formal world list but your old account nor this new one is on it. I don't know if kerby maybe has another list he keeps so we'll have to wait to see what he says.

Hi this is a place for questions, answers, and discussion about the level editor for Mario World Racer. It is a pretty complex piece of work to fully understand, but I know ya'll will enjoy it. 🙂
Further, what do you feel needs to be added to the game next?
